Country Roads

Headlined by Dennis Curley, Country Roads is a tribute show to one of America’s best-loved performers and draws deeply on Curley’s own love of John Denver’s music.

Backed by a fantastic six-piece band, Curley’s renditions of the music of John Denver are sure to bring a smile to audiences of all ages.  Some of the featured tunes include “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” “Rocky Mountain High,” “Leaving on a Jet Plane,” and “Thank God I'm a Country Boy.”

Frontman Dennis Curley intersperses the songs with personal recollections of growing up with John Denver’s music, as well as stories from friends and family that will touch your heart and tickle your funny bone.  And in a truly unique twist, he invites audience members to share their personal stories as well.

Country Roads ran for three weekends at Minneapolis’ Bryant-Lake Bowl, three sold-out shows at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, and fifteen weeks at the Plymouth Playhouse, where over 12,000 people saw and loved the show.  The group produced a live CD from one of their performances (available for sale here), and they are excited to take the show on the road!

Fully customizable (30 to 120 minutes) and perfect for fairs, festivals, special events, corporate parties, conventions, trade shows, and theatrical engagements, Country Roads will delight fans old and new, and is ideal for all ages.

The Marion Ross Performing Arts Center here in Albert Lea, MN, was very impressed with Dennis Curley and his Country Roads tribute show!  As the theatre building manager and entertainment contact, I was very pleased by the outstanding musicianship and attention to detail of the entire performance.  In addition, the whole crew was very polite and personable.  We will be having them back as soon as we find a date that works for both of us!  A class act for sure!!
